We were really excited to get back on the road again after our 3 weeks in Toulouse.  I really liked having a base and I know that it will be what we’ll look for for any future travels without the van, but we were ready to explore further again. France is famous for it’s food the world over – bread, cheese, wine, you get the idea!  It would be so easy to go over our very measly budget while we’re here. When we’ve been on the move we’ve mostly been using local shops supplemented by supermarkets, but in Toulouse we’ve been walking distance to a supermarket (Carrefour and Netto) and so we’ve been pretty much buying from there.
